Shell Energy Retail Limited is committed to the Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice (SMICoP). The code is aimed to inform and protect customers who are having a Smart Meter installed in their home. We want to ensure our customers’ Smart Meter installation experience is a positive one.
Smart meters are ‘smarter’ than digital and mechanical meters because you don’t need to take readings. The benefits include the ability to:
- monitor your energy use online,
- see how much energy you’re really using,
- make informed changes to your usage to save energy and reduce your bills.
